Bring Up a Child Ministry Uganda is a faith-based charitable organization dedicated to the spiritual growth and socio-economic well-being of orphans and vulnerable children. Founded in late 2018 and officially registered with the Uganda Registration Service Bureau in 2019 as a company limited by guarantee, the organization became a fully registered NGO with the Uganda National NGO Registration Service Bureau in December 2021

Our mission is to restore hope and dignity to disadvantaged children, particularly orphans, those affected by HIV/AIDS, and children from families marginalized by poverty. We are committed to transforming their lives, giving them the opportunity to live with purpose and the same opportunities as any other child.

Our Objectives

  • To improve the welfare of communities through the initiation of programmes geared towards; peace, equity, reconciliation and self-supporting projects.

  • To develop a family-centered environment that can provide information, support, advocacy and networking for families and their communities.

  • To address the problem of stigmatization, discrimination, provide social support and care to people affected with and by communicable and non-communicable diseases amidst our communities.

  • 4. To reduce the transmission rate of sexually Transmitted Diseases, HIV/AIDS and its impact by increasing awareness, knowledge and communication with in communities.

  • 5. To advocate for and address the plight to People living with HIV/AIDS, orphans and vulnerable children and other vulnerable groups including; women, girls and the elderly.

  • 6. To carry out programs that promote sustainable integrated agriculture and environmental conservation among communities.

  • 8. To establish Primary Health Care programs aimed at improving the health status and welfare of the communities.
